NOS Vintage Benotto 2500 57cm RoadBike FRAME & FORK Columbus Bicycle

New Old Stock Vintage Italian / Mexican 57cm Benotto Racing Road Bike Frame and Fork from around 1983 or 1984 in the Iconic Champagne Gold Color with Columbus Steel Tubes & Campagnolo Dropouts. At first Glacce I thought this was a 850 with the painted fork but with Campagnolo Dropouts belive this is a Late Modelo 2500. Giacinto Benotto founded Benotto, Benotto is an Italian / Mexican Bike Manufacturer with Rich Racing History with Major Wins for Francesco Moser, Freddy Maertens, Antonio Belivacqua & Roger DeVlaeminck in the 1960s- 1980s. Benotto moved major manufacturing to Mexico in the 1950s although the High-end models were Hand Built in Italy until Mid 1980s. Some Benotto Racing Bikes were made by DeRosa. Benotto is an Iconic Brand that still survives today in Mexico. Benotto Frame Set sizing is center to top - 57cm. Actual Size is: Seat tube 56m Center to Center or 57cm Center to Top with a 56cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 150mm tall. The Frame and Fork are Columbus Steel Tubes with Campagnolo Dropouts. The 1" Threaded steel Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 126mm Rear Spacing. Frame & Fork is Italian Standard. Frame measures for 27.2mm diameter seat post. Frame set has no stampings, I believe this is Mexican built frameset. Frame is New Old Stock, Paint is Nice but has some nicks, scratches, and possable tiny dent from Age, shipping, and trading hands a few times. Frameset has NOS Benotto Sticker Decals that are Crisp, Clean, & Freshly Applied. NOS Frame set original from the factory, but needs to be prepped before assembly and the the fork needs to be fitted and cut down. What's Shown weighs a tad over 5 1/2 pounds.
